DBT Diary Card was created by a Ph.D. psychologist who received direct training from Dr. Marsha Linehan at the Duke University Medical Center. The app incorporates all three essential components of a DBT app - a reference manual, behavior tracker, and skills coach - while utilizing the unique capabilities of the iOS platform.

Key features of DBT Diary Card include PDF generation, Notification Pane support, password protection, advanced text editing, and media playback.
