DBT Diary Card was created by a Ph.D. psychologist who received direct training from Dr. Marsha Linehan at the Duke University Medical Center. The app incorporates all three essential components of a DBT app - a reference manual, behavior tracker, and skills coach - while utilizing the unique capabilities of the iOS platform.

Key features of DBT Diary Card include PDF generation, Notification Pane support, password protection, advanced text editing, and media playback. The app offers a wide range of DBT skills that can serve as a quick reference guide, allowing users to conveniently access skill descriptions whenever needed.

The app also provides comprehensive coverage of emotions and pre-loaded troublesome behaviors. Users can rely on the coaching feature when they need assistance selecting or understanding a particular skill.
